ANTIQUE 9CT GOLD TROMBONE & LOVERS KNOT DOUBLE ALBERT —BIRMINGHAM 1917
This exceptional antique solid 9ct gold Double Albert chain, crafted in Birmingham in 1917, is outstandingly preserved. Every trombone link and lovers knot carries a remarkably crisp individual hallmark, while the detachable T-bar and dog clips bear corresponding period marks, including the B&S maker’s mark.
Both dog clips remain fully functional with exceptionally strong springs. The trombone links have no dents, and the detachable T-bar allows the chain to be styled in several ways.
Originally designed as a watch chain, it can also be worn as an approximately 16” necklace by fastening a dog clip directly onto the T-bar.
