EXCEPTIONAL ANTIQUE ALBERT — STERLING SILVER & 10CT GOLD
An extraordinary example of a high-quality English Albert chain — substantial, beautifully graduated, and exceptionally well preserved.
The hallmarks on this piece are truly remarkable. Every single curb link is individually hallmarked, with exceptionally crisp, deeply struck marks preserved throughout. The connecting rings and antique dog clip are hallmarked as well, with the dog clip bearing the W.W.C. maker’s mark, attributed to William Walter Cashmore of Birmingham.
The curb links graduate beautifully from 7.1 mm to a substantial 10.2 mm, giving this 12.2” section extraordinary presence and weight.
Finished with a large antique hallmarked 10ct gold bolt clasp, creating a striking mixed-metal contrast and transforming this exceptional section of Albert into a statement extender.
